What Types Of Services Are Available?

I offer a wide range of handyman services to help you around the home. This includes furniture assembly, painting and decorating, gardening and landscaping, door and cabinet repairs, general mounting (TVs, pictures, shelves), small plumbing jobs, paving, fencing, drainage work, and appliance installation. If you've got a job that needs doing and you're not sure if I cover it, just give me a call and I'll let you know straight away if I can help.

Do you provide emergency services?

I don't offer a 24-hour emergency service, but I understand that some jobs need doing urgently. If you've got an urgent issue, give me a call and I'll do my best to fit you in as quickly as possible. For genuine emergencies like gas leaks or major electrical faults, you'll need to contact a certified professional or your utility company straight away.

In which regions do you operate?

I cover Newbury and the surrounding areas within a 30-mile radius. This includes places like Thatcham, Hungerford, Kingsclere, Tadley, and the villages in between. If you're not sure whether I cover your area, just give me your postcode when you call and I'll let you know.

How much time will the task require?

Every job is different, so it's hard to say without seeing what needs doing. When you contact me, I'll ask you a few questions about the work, and I can usually give you a rough estimate over the phone. For bigger jobs, I might need to pop round first to have a proper look. I'll always be honest about how long I think something will take - I'd rather overestimate than leave you waiting.

Before I Arrive, What Should you Do?

Not much at all! Just make sure I can access the area where the work needs doing. If it's indoor work, you might want to move any valuable items or furniture that's in the way, but that's entirely up to you. For outdoor jobs, I just need to be able to get to the area safely. If you've got pets, please let me know in advance - I'm happy to work around them, but it's good to know beforehand.

How can I give feedback following the service?

I really appreciate hearing from customers after I've completed a job. You can give me a call, send a text, or drop me an email to let me know how everything went. If there's anything you're not happy with, please tell me straight away so I can put it right. And if you're pleased with the work, a kind word or recommendation to friends and family means the world to a small business like mine.

How Do I Book Your Services?

Just give me a ring or send me a message with details about the job you need doing. I'll ask a few questions to understand what's involved, and then we'll arrange a time that suits you. I try to be as flexible as possible with appointments, and I'll always confirm the day before so you know when to expect me.
